Covers Our Routine Labor Services...

This applies to most kinds of work and the time is recorded and signed off on by you so there are no "mystery hours" thrown in.   This will include the time it takes to make trips to pick up materials you need, unless you prefer to do those errands yourself to save a little money on your project. Minimum one-hour.

$100/hr

Covers Our High-Skill Labor Services...

This applies to specialized skill types of work (for instance, electrical work which could easily run you $200-$350/hour in the local market). All start and stop time is recorded and you are only charged for the time your job actually requires. This will include the time it takes to make trips to pick up materials you need, unless you prefer to do those errands yourself to save a little money on your project. Minimum one-hour.

$1.50/mile Trip Charge

Covers our trip charge

The Phoenix Metro area we serve is very large. But, we will happily come to you no matter how far we need to travel to get there in the metro area.  This $1.50/mile charge is roundtrip and applies to every trip made to your property. It will also apply on trips to pick up materials, if you request us to do so on your behalf. This covers fuel costs and time for travel.  

4% for Credit/Debit card use

This covers overhead costs for card processing

If you choose to pay in good old fashioned cash, or with Zelle, this won't apply.  But, we do provide the option to use convenient electronic billing and payment systems through Intuit QuickBooks Payments if you prefer.  Intuit may even approve you for an installment payment plan at checkout.

For when you want an estimate you can plan for in advance

Sometimes you aren't really sure what to expect and want an idea of the cost going in.  We are happy to charge only the trip charge to come out and assess your project, take measurements, and then send you our estimate so you know what to expect before you agree to start any work. We use totally transparent modern estimate forms, sent electronically, and you can take a look at your leisure and let us know if you would like to move forward.  Please note that while we do our best to quote you a price that is accurate, any information not shared with us in advance about your property or the mysterious things we find inside your walls or ceilings could make the project much more complex than we expected.  If this happens, our policy is to stop work and talk to you in plain terms about what we are seeing before we do any work that is out of scope from the initial estimate.  We won't ever just pursue a more complicated issue repair and surprise you with the bill when we are finished.  We don't like that with repairs on our own home and we totally get it.  You will always remain in control of your project, should it become bigger than either of us imagined when we assessed the visible parts of your location initially.  If we underbid your project based on things we just overlooked, that is on us and we will honor the quoted price for labor from the original estimate even if it takes us longer, too. All parts and materials can be purchased directly by you if you would like to avoid our procurement costs to shop on your behalf, as well.

No hidden fees

You can buy your own materials and parts so we don't need to be involved in those purchases. There are times where it may make sense for us to procure the parts and materials and simply add their cost (including procurement costs) onto your invoice.  But, we will never do that without first communicating with you and giving you the option to shop and purchase your own parts, materials, and supplies. No surprise billing!
